The film revolves around the character of Murali and this character is played by Tovino Thomas in the movie, who is replaced by Tovino Thomas as a lightning strikes him due to which he has a collection of supernatural powers and he is depicted in the film.

Jaison(Tovino Thomas), a tailor from the village of kurukkanmoola, obtains superpowers like increased speed,reflexes and strength when being hit by a bolt of lightning and becomes the superhero “Minnal Murali”. The story follows him exploring his aforementioned superpowers and the way it results in his clash between the movie’s main antagonist, Selvan(Guru Somasundaram), a super-villain going by the name of “Vellidi Venkiti”.
